Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance tasks at our residential and crisis accommodation properties. This is a permanent full-time position, offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement an annual cyclical maintenance plan to ensure ongoing asset maintenance and take a preventative approach to maintenance where possible.
- Ensure contractors and suppliers are regularly assessed for performance and pricing, ensuring Launch Housing receives the best possible commercial outcome from service agreements.
- Provide regular communication with the assets team and site management to aid awareness of maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of planned and cyclical maintenance activities and ensure these are logged in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Work with the Property Safety & Compliance Officer, as well as the Office Facilitators, to ensure safe and compliant properties across the Launch portfolio.
- Demonstrated experience in a hands-on maintenance position or similar, able to conduct basic repairs and maintenance with confidence.
- Sound computer skills and strong administrative and timekeeping skills.
- Demonstrated experience of working in a people-facing service-oriented role.
- Ability to work within a team and also independently.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.
- A competitive salary of $87,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
