Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a full-time eyewear consultant/receptionist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting patients in selecting appropriate frames and sunglasses, and conducting frame adjustments and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Meet and greet patients with a smile and provide a positive and comfortable environment for both staff and patients.
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and sunglasses, considering their visual needs, prescription requirements, and personal style preferences.
- Administrative Duties
- Answer phone calls, book appointments, and manage administrative tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with the optometrists, support staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
- Optical Services
- Conduct frame adjustments, repairs, and minor maintenance, ensuring optimal fit and comfort for patients.
- Place and track orders for lenses, frames, and other eyewear accessories, coordinating with external suppliers and maintaining inventory control.
Requirements
- Previous Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service/retail assistant is ideal but not essential.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
