Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional Process Engineering Safety Specialist to lead our process safety operations.

About the Role:
  • Lead the School's health, safety, and wellbeing systems for high-risk chemical and process engineering activities.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and investigate incidents to drive continuous improvement and accreditation readiness.
  • Develop and implement process safety initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to ensure research and teaching laboratories operate safely.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day process safety operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver process safety training for staff and students, focusing on hazard assessment, risk management, and emergency response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe projects and robust emergency plans, monitoring safety performance and managing WHS action plans.
