About the Opportunity

The Accommodation and Specialist Support Services division offers flexible living options to people with disabilities, encouraging developmental opportunities and client choice.

This role involves administration time to support Team Leaders and oversee quality service provision to adults in Accommodation Services.

You will collaborate with fellow staff members, managers, families, Support Coordinators, Case Managers, and participate in monitoring and evaluation of service performance and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding Disability Legislation: Ensure compliance and deliver effective support services within legal frameworks.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and lead meetings for effective communication and decision-making among team members and stakeholders.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of client information, service delivery, and program outcomes for quality assurance and reporting requirements.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, regulate emotions, and adapt approach to meet diverse needs of clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate respectfully about sensitive issues related to disability, conveying information and listening to feedback.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Foster positive relationships and promote a supportive work environment through polite and considerate interactions.
  • Responsiveness: Demonstrate responsiveness to individual needs, promptly addressing inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Leadership Experience: Leverage strong leadership skills, including experience managing and leading teams within disability support services.
