About the Role

The Water Management Professional will oversee potable water treatment plant design projects, conduct treatment studies, develop business strategies, and serve clients with a focus in Illinois.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing proposals: project plan and approach, staff assignments, fee development, and risk assessment
  • Review draft agreements and provide input and approval for scope and fee
  • Build teams, assign staff to projects based on knowledge, skills, and availability, and monitor project performance (client satisfaction, project schedule, project budget, billings, QA/QC)
  • Direct staff efforts and development according to plans and personal skills; support in achieving goals
  • Assist with developing department standards and perform quality control review
  • Lead single and multi-disciplined projects and represent the company in client and agency meetings to resolve questions and plan work
  • Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with peers and management team, and provide technical guidance and mentoring of project team members

A degree in Civil Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois are required. Must-haves include 10 or more years of related experience in project management and potable water design, membership in professional and technical societies, and strong verbal, computer, organizational, and writing skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000, with actual compensation packages based on factors such as skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
