We are seeking a Water Planning Engineer to join our team.

Our water group is growing, and we have exciting opportunities for talented professionals who can contribute to delivering water and wastewater infrastructure solutions for our clients.

  • This position will play an integral role amongst a diverse group of highly skilled professionals that 'design with community in mind' to deliver program and project excellence for our water business clients in both metropolitan, regional, and remote contexts.

The successful candidate will undertake hydraulic modelling, planning studies and feasibility assessments for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

This includes:

  • Experience in water supply and wastewater infrastructure planning projects involving growth assessments, options analysis, strategic and master planning.
  • Providing technical input to water and wastewater engineering projects to meet project needs and client expectations, including both modelling outputs and planning reports.
  • Producing technical outputs that conform to the project scope through strong report writing, presentation development and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related suitable professional qualification.
  • Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry. Between 1 and 7 years of experience is desired.
  • Desired previous experience in planning potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
