About the Role

The National Sales - Wholesale and Export is a crucial position at Auto Parts Group (APG), responsible for building long-term client relationships across Australia and developing sales strategies to improve growth in our wholesale sector.

You will work closely with the National Contact Centre to ensure the teams are achieving sales goals, targets, and revenue for our wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with State Managers and the National Contact Centre Manager to provide a national approach to APG's National Wholesale customers and monitor the operational delivery, customer, market and competitor products.
  • Work with the GM Sales & Operations, Group Manager – Sales and GM Finance to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, profit and other key financial performance objectives.
  • Analysing market trends and competitors' activities and formulate strategies in line with business expansion plans.

Requirements:

  • The ability to work autonomously in this role with a high level of self-determination, discipline and drive, whilst at the same time working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • You will be self-confident and comfortable communicating and negotiating within all levels of corporate as well as independent businesses.
  • You will be results orientated having the ability to analyse the current status quo and make corrective decisions to change the direction of the outcome to a positive one.
  • Be accountable for the wholesale division results.
