About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Veterinary Graduate & Intern Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis for a 12-month contract. As a key member of our learning and development team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing and delivering effective learning and development programs for general practice veterinary graduates and speciality and emergency veterinary interns.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a central team of learning and development professionals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication framework for newly employed veterinary graduates and interns, collaborating with team leaders and the learning and development team to support veterinary graduates and interns, and coordinating the running of veterinary graduate and intern programs.
Key Responsibilities- Communication Framework: Develop and implement a communication framework for newly employed veterinary graduates and interns, providing them with key information and welcoming them to the organisation prior to starting.
- Program Coordination: Collaborate with team leaders and the learning and development team to support veterinary graduates and interns, ensuring they meet business goals.
- Program Development: Develop and co-ordinate the running of veterinary graduate and intern programs, including face-to-face induction weeks, workshops, modular online courses and other components.
- Support and Progression: Provide day-to-day support and touch points for veterinary graduates, interns and team leaders, ensuring they are progressing as expected through the components of the graduate and intern programs.
- Reporting and Administration: Provide reporting on progress, touch points and support metrics, coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and development programs.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have:
- Formal Qualifications: Group facilitation, clinical excellence and assessment, recording and administration experience.
- Strong Relationship Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Results-Driven: A proven track record of achieving outstanding results and meeting business goals.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
