Waterpark Safety Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Raging Waters Sydney, the biggest and wildest waterpark in Sydney. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incorporate health and safety standards into park procedures and training
  • Assist with conducting proactive risk assessments to identify and minimize potential risks in all aspects of park operations
  • Conduct investigations for both guest and employee health and safety related incidents
  • Prepare and enter incident reports into the incident reporting system
  • Assist with developing corrective and preventive actions to address incidents
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-years of University or Technical School education in Health and Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety Sciences, or related field
  • Previous work experience in the amusement or leisure industry is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and set priorities
