Job Title: Parks Maintenance Role

Job Summary:

Inner West Council invites applications for a Parks Maintenance role. As a valued member of the team, you will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of Council's parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas.

The Role:

  • You will carry out a range of operational tasks and activities that help the team meet its performance targets and service commitments.
  • You'll work collaboratively within a supportive team environment and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of services that benefit the local community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant horticultural qualification OR equivalent industry experience in parks and sportsfields operations.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn to use field devices (eg. tablets) for managing daily team work plans.
  • Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice and acting with probity at all times.
  • Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.
  • Suitable level of fitness to perform the inherent duties of the position.

Benefits:

  • Remuneration: $61,783.28 - $67,504.32 + 12% Superannuation.
