Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Parks and Recreation Specialist. As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Council's parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Coordinator Parks & Sportsfields Maintenance, and your Team Leader to contribute to the ongoing success and improvement of Council's green spaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is community-focused, takes pride in outdoor work, and thrives in a team setting.

The ideal candidate should have a relevant horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience in parks and sportsfields operations. You should possess good interpersonal communication skills, ability to learn to use field devices, and understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice, and acting with probity at all times.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and are passionate about contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of public spaces.
