Business Rules Consultant Position

The role of a Business Rules Consultant is pivotal in the development and implementation of frameworks that support business growth.

This position entails collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and process enhancements. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving compliance with regulatory requirements, such as CPS230, BFID, and FAR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the transition of business rules to new systems, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed.
  • Develop training programs to upskill teams in maintaining business rules and processes.
  • Assist in reporting on the status of business rules updates and manage quarterly compliance controls.
  • Ensure procedural compliance and support operational initiatives and process improvements.
  • Oversee change management processes with external service providers, including testing and reporting.
  • Deliver operational reporting and respond to procedural queries to ensure legislative compliance.
  • Manage quarterly reviews, audits, and change cycles of Fund Business Rules and Procedures.
  • Support projects and initiatives impacted by business rules and procedures.
About You:
  • You'll bring:
  • Proficiency in Objective Keystone or similar platforms.
  • Experience in superannuation operations and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and relevant frameworks.
  • Experience with GRC systems (ARCHER preferred) and incident management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and document management capabilities.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline (preferred).
