Business Rules Consultant

This is a proactive and collaborative role that supports the implementation and maintenance of frameworks and controls around business rules updates, with a strong focus on process enhancements and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the transition of business rules to new systems, supporting teams across various functions.
  • Provide training and support to upskill teams in maintaining business rules and ensuring procedural compliance.
  • Assist in reporting on the status of business rules updates and manage quarterly compliance controls.
  • Ensure operational excellence and support process improvements by analyzing data and recommending solutions.
  • Oversee change management processes with external service providers, including testing and reporting.
  • Deliver actionable insights and respond to procedural queries to ensure legislative compliance.
  • Manage quarterly reviews, audits, and change cycles of business rules and procedures.
  • Support projects and initiatives impacted by business rules and procedures.
About You
  • You'll bring:
  • Proficiency in system administration and data analysis.
  • Experience in operations and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments and relevant frameworks.
  • Experience with GRC systems and incident management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and document management capabilities.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (preferred).
