Construction Management Opportunity

This is a key leadership position within our residential home building business, focusing on delivering quality homes with impact.

As Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the direct link between the Director and the team, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.

  • Providing on-site support, training, and development for site supervisors to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
  • Ensuring that all homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings, maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.
  • Inspecting works to ensure they meet the required standards, including regular quality inspections to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and controlling project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget targets.
  • Leading by example, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and subcontractors, adhering to our Safety Management System and WH&S legislation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating the Onsite Companion project management system throughout the build process.
  • Effectively resolving conflicts and problems as they arise, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager with a thorough understanding of the residential construction industry, particularly in a similar leadership role.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland and Australian building codes and regulations.
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in construction or a related field.
  • Previous experience with Onsite Companion and similar software systems.
