At Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, we're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Pathology Specimen Collector.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the healthcare industry, collecting biological specimens from patients in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for ensuring all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols, providing exceptional patient care and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and/or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection.
  • The confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres.
  • Efficient time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role.
  • A First Aid Certificate.
