Job Overview:

The IT Asset Management Analyst position plays a crucial role in streamlining software license entitlements, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and proactively manage business demand for IT services and assets (Hardware and Software) to optimize resource allocation
  • Perform risk management activities, maintaining accurate documentation of risks and mitigation actions
  • Provide expert advice on procurement, asset management, and vendor-related matters to support informed decision-making
  • Develop and deliver actionable business intelligence reports to drive strategic planning
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring seamless integration with business operations and accurate records
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Manager to prepare RFx briefing packs and procurement documentation
  • Monitor and report on supplier and contract performance, facilitating issue resolution and continuous improvement
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships to align procurement and asset strategies with evolving business needs

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related discipline) is highly valued
  • Proven experience in procurement, software asset management, and hardware asset management within a technology environment is essential
  • Expertise in procurement processes, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring is required
  • A robust work history in the payments technology, IT systems, or financial industry is necessary
  • A solid understanding of risk management, business intelligence, and asset lifecycle management principles is expected
  • Proficiency in using business intelligence and asset management tools is a must
