Drive transformative asset management by leading billion-dollar investments and shaping the future of energy infrastructure as a seasoned strategist.

In this high-impact role, you'll develop optimised commercial and technical solutions across the asset lifecycle. You will lead Transgrid network inputs into contestable bids, collaborating with commercial teams, financial advisors, and clients. Ensure regulatory compliance while balancing asset risk, cost, and performance. Drive innovation in cost estimating, incorporating macroeconomic and market trends. Manage upstream contracts for operational projects, ensuring seamless execution.

You'll work closely with Executive Managers, Lumea, Major Project teams, Asset Managers, and Network Planning to shape the future of energy infrastructure.

Achieve Success Through:

  • Developing optimal commercial and technical strategies for asset portfolio management
  • Leveraging expertise in contestable bidding and contract negotiation
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and managing asset risk
  • Driving innovation in cost estimation and analysis
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Qualifications & Experience:

- Degree qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Economics or equivalent.

- Experience in relevant infrastructure investment and portfolio management roles.

Key Skills & Abilities:

- Expertise in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line operations and maintenance

- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures applicable to asset management of transmission infrastructure

- Knowledge of NEM development, including AEMO's ISP and NSW EII Roadmap

- Awareness of the NER and NSW Regulatory Frameworks, including the RIT-T, CPAs, and TET
