The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our Capital Markets team as a Vice President. In this role, you will have a broad mandate across debt and leveraged capital markets, structured products, and strategic equity derivatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute capital markets transactions in connection to mergers and acquisitions, refinancing, growth, and capital management.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new transaction opportunities and driving business growth.
- Collaborate with internal sector coverage teams to provide innovative solutions and impactful pitching materials.
- Support the development of more junior team members.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulations, and competitive dynamics.
About You:
- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, with deep technical knowledge in at least three of the following areas:
- Leveraged finance
- Debt capital markets
- Debt advisory
- Private capital
- Structured finance
- Equity-linked products
- Hybrid capital
- Derivatives
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to expand expertise across all the areas above.
- Proven track record of independently managing and executing transactions.
- Ability to convey complex structures in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to origination and relationship-building.
