Chef de Partie Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled Chef de Partie with expertise in Asian cuisine to join our culinary team in Mumbai. This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality Asian dishes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook various Asian dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team for efficient operations during service
  • Manage your station effectively, including mise en place and inventory control
  • Suggest innovative Asian dishes for menu development
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Train junior kitchen staff in Asian cooking techniques
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, specializing in Asian cuisine
  • In-depth knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients
  • Strong culinary skills with ability to maintain high food quality and presentation
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages a plus

The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹450,000, considering market conditions and location.
