Surgical Team Member

The Surgical Technologist is a crucial team member, collaborating closely with surgeons and Operating Room RNs to deliver seamless surgical experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation of operating rooms for surgery by setting up equipment and supplies, ensuring a smooth start to each procedure.
  • Maintain patient care during surgery, adhering to sterile protocols and monitoring vital signs to guarantee patient safety.
  • Effectively communicate with surgical teams to ensure procedures are executed efficiently and smoothly.
Key Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
  • License/Certifications: Current BCLS certification and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification within 6 months of start date essential.
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred, enabling individuals to effectively apply their skills in this dynamic environment.
