Our team seeks a highly skilled and versatile Operating Room Specialist to provide crucial support during surgical procedures.

As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for setting up operating rooms with the necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare operating rooms with the required equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Function as a scrub person throughout the procedure, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments with care.
  • Manage operating room resources to optimize patient flow and minimize delays.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to coordinate work, resolve issues, and develop new methods to improve efficiency.
  • Take ownership of delivering exceptional customer service, adhering to our company's policy.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • BCLS Certification is mandatory.
  • Current National Certified Surgical Technologist certification or Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • Previous experience in the operating room is desired.
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients/customers, demonstrating empathy and respect for their needs and dignity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently lifting patients, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to communicate information accurately and efficiently among personnel, physicians, and patients.
