Asset Management Leader

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management professional to lead our team in developing and implementing a high-level asset management strategy.

This role requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive operational excellence.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement an asset management strategy that aligns with business needs.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the assets team, fostering collaboration and development.
  • Embed a Zero Harm culture and ensure compliance with all legislative and technical standards.
  • Oversee maintenance management systems and reporting to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Partner with the commercial team to align asset lifecycle costing with customer pricing and business goals.
  • Drive innovation in maintenance strategies and evaluate industry trends to keep us at the forefront of asset management.
About You

You have a strong background in asset management, maintenance, or reliability, ideally within the heavy industry sector.

You thrive in strategic leadership roles that require stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing asset and maintenance strategies.
  • Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management standards and underground coal legislation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management systems, data analytics, and lifecycle planning.
