Job Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Asset Leader to drive the optimization of our fleet's performance and align it with business needs.

This is a leadership role that blends strategic vision with hands-on operational execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative asset strategy, leading a multidisciplinary team, and driving data-informed decision-making.

About You

You are an experienced leader with a strong background in asset management, maintenance, or reliability, ideally within the heavy industry sector. You thrive in strategic leadership roles that require analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.

You possess a proven track record of developing and implementing asset and maintenance strategies, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving innovation in maintenance strategies. You are also proficient with maintenance management systems, data analytics, and lifecycle planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Strategy: Develop and implement a high-level asset management strategy to optimize fleet performance and align with business needs.
  • Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the Assets team, fostering collaboration, development, and a high-performance culture.
  • Safety & Compliance: Embed a Zero Harm culture and ensure compliance with all legislative and technical standards.
  • Systems & Reporting: Oversee maintenance management systems and reporting to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Commercial Insight: Partner with the Commercial team to align asset lifecycle costing with customer pricing and business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in maintenance strategies and evaluate industry trends to keep the organization at the forefront of asset management.
