Key Role: Small Business Banking Specialist

About the Position:

  • This position involves providing expert advice and fostering long-term relationships with customers.
  • You will be responsible for managing end-to-end residential and commercial banking services.

The Team Overview:

The Small Business division is an energetic and highly engaged part of our organization, offering full-service support to valuable small business customers. We encourage their growth and support their personal journeys because they depend on experienced bankers like you to guide them through challenges and develop trusted partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • You will have personal and meaningful conversations with small business customers and referral partners to provide an integrated customer experience.
  • You will create strong and lasting partnerships with colleagues, the wider team, and externally with referral networks and brokers.
  • As part of a team, you will perform credit analysis and approve requests for temporary excesses/increased limits up to your Delegated Commitment Authority (DCA).
  • You will manage lending and product requests for small business customers with long-term pipeline goals.
  • You will be responsible for retention-related activities to deepen the relationship between NAB and its customers.
