Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce system administrator to join our successful and growing team in Brisbane.


This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional who can coordinate and support the implementation, development, and ongoing management of our internal Salesforce CRM system. You will be responsible for ensuring the design and functionality meet the requirements of the company, its users, and departmental budgets and KPIs.



About the Role

  • Manage user activation/deactivation, setup sharing settings, roles, profiles, and groups.
  • Perform basic Salesforce configuration, create custom objects and fields, modify record types, page layouts, and related lists.
  • Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows according to user requirements.
  • Assist with data migration from external sources as needed.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to promote the adoption of Salesforce across the business and encourage best practice.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce releases to determine functionality requirements and impact on the existing system.
  • Continuously review the instance and make recommendations for improving existing business processes.
  • Develop training materials and provide training and support to users.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A validated strong knowledge of the Salesforce system (Sales Cloud minimum) and hands-on experience as a system administrator, including system audits and upgrades.
  • Proven capability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into project scope.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving support tickets.
  • Meticulous attention to deadlines, demonstrating the ability to coordinate others toward goal accomplishment.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake project management responsibilities, ensuring projects are governed appropriately and completed on time, within budget, and to desired quality.
  • Understanding of conventional contract and business terminology required to draft contract clauses.


What We Offer

Hitachi Construction Machinery offers a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
