Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to lead and nurture the faith and spirituality of our students, families and staff. As part of this role, you will support relevant staff to gain accreditation to teach in a Catholic school.

You will be responsible for teaching across four Victorian campuses of MacKillop Education. The position involves developing curriculum and resources to deepen students' knowledge and understanding of the Catholic tradition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum to deepen students' knowledge and understanding of the Catholic tradition.
  • Nurture the faith and spirituality of our students, families and staff through dialogue, learning and reflection.
  • Support staff to gain accreditation to teach in a Catholic school.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • A qualification in theology or spirituality and/or experience teaching in this field of study.
  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
