Faith and Spirituality Educator

This role supports staff in gaining accreditation to teach in a Catholic school across four Victorian campuses, fostering student and staff understanding of the faith and spirituality of students, families, and staff.
The successful candidate will lead and teach in nurturing the faith and spirituality of students, families, and staff through dialogue, learning, and reflection. They will develop curriculum resources to deepen students' knowledge of the Catholic tradition and MacKillop's founders.
Key Responsibilities- Deepen staff knowledge of the Catholic tradition through professional learning and reflection.
- Develop curriculum resources to support students in deepening their knowledge of the Catholic tradition and MacKillop's founders.
- Lead and teach in nurturing the faith and spirituality of students, families, and staff.
- A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent and VIT registration eligibility.
- Qualification in theology or experience teaching in this field.
- Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and values and awareness of current issues.
- Understanding of MacKillop's values and objectives.
