We are seeking a dedicated and people-driven expert to provide quality advisory support through generalist HR activities. This includes supporting understanding and application of people processes, facilitating employee relations matters, reviewing and revising HR policies and procedures, delivering cyclical people-related activities and initiatives, collaborating with the broader team to ensure alignment with corporate and divisional HR practices and priorities, interpreting and advising on relevant Awards, Industrial Agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of IR/ER management activity for reporting and analytics purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the effective implementation of people processes including performance management, employee engagement, learning development, and coaching.
  • Facilitate employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary outcomes, and actions.
  • Review and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and address current and future business needs.
  • Deliver cyclical people-related activities and initiatives including market and performance-based remuneration reviews, salary reviews, and providing recommendations aligned with internal strategy.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure alignment with corporate and divisional HR practices and priorities.
  • Interpret and advise on relevant Awards, Industrial Agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of IR/ER management activity for reporting and analytics purposes.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualifications in Human Resources, employment relations, organizational development, or business.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a HR role preferably in mining/resources.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels.
  • Ability to coach and educate leaders and employees on employment legislation and related observations.
  • Good knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation and regulations.
