Job Title:

Terminal Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Terminal Supervisor to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of trades people and operators at our Bulk Sugar Terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for asset management activities, including maintenance and capital projects, while maintaining production KPIs within a collaborative and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Lead and develop the team for optimal outcomes and performance
  • Enhance the culture through leading by example and upholding our values
  • Build key internal and external relationships to deliver value and meet targets
  • Effective scheduling and planning tasks, and contractor management
  • Problem-solving, budgeting, data analysis and reporting
  • Maintain our safety culture and compliance ensuring the health and wellbeing of all team members, contractors and visitors
  • Maintain and improve on HSE, production and maintenance KPIs

Requirements:

  • An electrical trade background with good knowledge of maintenance and asset management systems and processes
  • Leadership and team development experience in a similar role
  • A QLD electrical license will be required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and influence a range of key stakeholders
  • Prior job scheduling and planning experience
  • High emotional intelligence and be a self-starter
  • Resilience and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a strong lens for Health, Safety and Environment
  • A current driver's license
