Estimator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to manage the estimating process from tender to submission for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the estimating process across residential and commercial projects with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Analyze technical documentation to ensure accurate cost estimates and identify potential risks.
  • Source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating terms when necessary.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgets align with client requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in estimating within residential and commercial construction with a strong understanding of building codes and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver accurate tenders on multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel with exposure to Procore an advantage.
