Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Lead to join our team at Green Light, a leading IT services business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience dealing with key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and department managers, and possess the ability to be influential. They should also have good knowledge of employment awards, legislation, and fair work legislation.

The Employee Lead will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and professional, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and frameworks that support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Provide support, guidance, and oversight to managers and staff on HR matters, including performance management, redeployment, conflict resolution, grievances, discipline, policies, employment awards, and change management.
  • Undertake award interpretation and provide advice to managers and staff on industry awards and agreements.
  • Provide timely information and education on HR issues to all levels of the company.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Collaborate with the business to champion a culture of excellence and engagement.
  • Provide operational advice on employment contracts, terms of employment, and the interpretation of agreements, awards, and policies.
  • Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of human resource policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in operational HR planning and strategy, including consultation processes with internal stakeholders and training programs.
Requirements
  • Previous strategic human resource experience in a busy team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize in a results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously in accordance with guidelines and company policies.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy interpretation, legislation, and awards, including casual employment.
  • High-level ability to adapt to new HR processes and technology.
  • Experience in overseeing performance reviews, redundancies, and grievance reviews.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and demonstrate HR expertise.
  • Experience with strategizing and implementing people practices that support a positive culture.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
