Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, the Site Quality Supervisor will oversee site quality procedures, enforce quality assurance measures, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and guarantee the execution of the Site Quality System in alignment with the Voith Company Quality Policy and contractual obligations.
  • Promote and implement a continuous improvement framework ensuring that Root Cause Analysis and lessons learned are effectively initiated and maintained on-site.
  • Collaborate closely with the site installation team and Engineering to ensure that tasks are executed safely, adhering to quality standards, customer specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Ensure that all QA/QC inspections and tests are conducted per the quality plan: participate in inspections according to the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), secure necessary resources, and coordinate tests performed by specialized service providers (e.g., non-destructive testing).
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise records of quality control processes, inspection outcomes, and corrective actions undertaken.
  • Ensure the qualification of welders and inspectors while managing related documentation.
  • Engage in site nonconformance and technical change requests, driving and monitoring the completion of QA corrective actions efficiently.
  • Ensure the thoroughness and accuracy of data books, managing and archiving site quality documentation.
  • Oversee the calibration of measurement instruments and track compliance.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections.
  • Assist the site team with QA processes, short- and medium-term work planning, engineering/installation procedures, and other field supervision tasks.

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in QA/QC or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven ability to drive project success with a focus on health, safety, and environment (HSE), quality, timelines, and budget.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance for large hydropower projects or similar industries. Construction and/or Electrical & Mechanical experience is essential. Familiarity with the Australian market is preferred.
  • Strong technical and operational understanding of QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:9001.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-focused.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, within an international team setting.

Site Conditions

  • A typical roster of 14 days on-site followed by 7 days off.
  • A standard work schedule of 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
