About the Role

The Voith Group is a leading global technology company that specializes in energy, paper, raw materials, and transport & automotive markets. As a Site Quality Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our projects, particularly in the hydro power and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement a continuous improvement system to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and contractors to ensure seamless quality activities.
  • Work closely with the site installation team to ensure safe and high-quality work completion.
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections and tests in accordance with quality plans and participate in inspections and tests.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure qualification of welders and inspectors and maintain related documentation.
  • Participate in site nonconformance and technical change requests and drive completion of QA corrective actions.
  • Drive completion and completeness of data books, control, and archive site quality documentation.
  • Ensure calibration of measurement tools and track compliance.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections.
Requirements
  • University degree in QA/QC or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in quality for large hydro power projects or in similar industries.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:9001.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol test and Police check.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.
  • Availability for night shifts.
Working Conditions
  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
