About This Role

At St Clare's Out of School Hours Care, we're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our team. If you have experience in childcare and leadership and are eager to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families, this might be the ideal opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Centre Manager in daily operations, including program planning, delivery, and documentation.
  • Supervise staff and manage administrative and financial tasks.
  • Deliver high-quality educational programs and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
Key Requirements:
  • An ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations.
  • Experience in childcare and effective communication skills.
