Platform Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced system architect to design, develop, and manage our Windows systems infrastructure across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing Windows systems infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Strong technical experience in implementing, managing, and supporting Windows systems infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.

As a key member of the IT team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing Windows systems infrastructure and associated services, developing and automating system processes, and implementing and managing infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, deploy, and manage Windows systems infrastructure and associated services such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, etc.
  2. Develop and automate system processes to reduce manual intervention and operational overhead, utilizing scripting and programming languages.
  3. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.
  4. Participate in incident management processes, identify and resolve issues quickly, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
  5. Analyze and optimize system performance using monitoring and logging tools to improve response times and reduce downtime.
  6. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security, reliability, and scalability.
  7. Monitor infrastructure and analyze performance metrics to identify improvements.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
