Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our security operations at our site in Alice Springs.

This is a full-time position under the SSIA framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the operational responsibilities of all allocated staffing while following internal escalation policies.
  • Implement security directives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Plan, organise and direct daily operational and administrative activities to enhance security personnel performance.
  • Manage administrative tasks while meeting regulatory and contractual site KPI requirements.
  • Maintain and update site documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Skills Matrix's, and Assignment Instructions.

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience in a similar role including the Management of a small to medium sized team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security documentation (Standard Operating Procedures etc.).
  • A valid Northern Territory security license and first aid/CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and computer systems including an intermediate level of Microsoft Office.
  • Certificate III in Security Operations (Leadership Course - CPP31318) is highly regarded.
