Airport Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Airport Security Specialist to join our team at Alice Springs Airport. As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment
- Ensure compliance with stringent security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Cultivate a culture of safety and excellence, providing memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors
- Completion of a Transport Security Protection Course
- Superb customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass rigorous drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments
- Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Full Criminal History Check
- Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
- Physical ability to perform all security and safety emergency procedures
