As a Security Contract Manager, you will oversee operations at our site in Alice Springs. This is a full-time position under the SSIA framework.

The role of a Security Contract Manager involves overseeing operational management of all personnel delivering services at the facility. You will implement security directives and ensure compliance, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee operational management of all personnel delivering services at the facility.
  • Implement security directives and ensure compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain rosters for all security personnel.
  • Manage administrative tasks while meeting regulatory and contractual site KPI requirements.
  • Plan, organise and direct daily operational and administrative activities while introducing proactive measures to enhance security personnel performance.
  • Maintain and update site documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Skills Matrix's, and Assignment Instructions.
  • Manage and oversee the performance and operational responsibilities of all allocated staffing while following internal escalation policies.
Requirements
  • Previous management experience in a similar role, including the management of a small to medium sized team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security documentation (Standard Operating Procedures etc.).
  • A valid Northern Territory security license and first aid/CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and computer systems, including an intermediate level of Microsoft Office.
  • A professional and well-presented demeanour at all times.
  • Certificate III in Security Operations (Leadership Course - CPP31318) is highly regarded.
  • Responsible for maintaining and rostering the fleet of Wilson security vehicles.
