Job Title:

Senior Creative Specialist

Job Description:

The Senior Creative Specialist is responsible for delivering high-level visual effects with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities include attending daily meetings, reviewing notes and feedback from team leads, and working closely with artists to achieve desired results.

As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to hit given notes while also offering proactive suggestions and alternate approaches.

A strong artistic eye and attention to detail are essential for this role, as well as technical proficiency in tools such as Silhouette and Nuke.

You will be required to work collaboratively with other departments to develop techniques and efficiencies, and to balance your own shot work with active mentoring of less-experienced artists.

Required Skills / Competencies:
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with artists, supervisors, and managers.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to deliver shots on time and to a high standard.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Aesthetically and creatively capable of producing high-quality images.
  • Team player who takes direction well and works collaboratively with others.
  • Dependable under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for results.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take ownership of projects and seek out new learning opportunities.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Excellent artistic eye, with experience in making images look visually appealing.
  • Keen eye for detail, with the ability to review roto/paint shots and identify areas for improvement.
  • Technical proficiency in tools such as Silhouette and Nuke.
  • Advanced skill in hand painting techniques using Silhouette.
  • Strong proficiency in multi-element integration and edge work.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish novel techniques and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
