Canva Seeks a Seasoned Copywriter

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Copywriter to join Canva's dynamic team.

About the Role:

  • Crafting impactful messaging for high-visibility projects in collaboration with Art Directors
  • Developing unique marketing ideas and creating clear, engaging content across multiple channels
  • Translating complex concepts into compelling language for diverse product lines

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Partnering with Art Directors to develop ideas and execute messaging that's consistent, effective, and accessible across Canva's multi-channel campaigns
  • Translating big, complex ideas into clear, user-friendly messaging that aligns with Canva's mission and vision
  • Writing, reviewing, and editing flawless, on-brand copy across channels, ensuring each asset enhances user engagement
  • Creating a playbook of high-quality content for a range of initiatives, from brand campaigns to standalone assets, working closely with designers, strategists, and producers
  • Collaborating with the Creative Copy Lead to keep messaging on-brand and aligned with Canva's evolving strategic direction

Your Skills And Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a copywriter, either agency or client side (in-house)
  • In-depth understanding of brand marketing channels and advertising best practices
  • Passion for innovative, blue sky ideation and a strong desire to make impactful work that will help build a global icon
