- Job Summary: To oversee and coordinate the hotel’s operations in the absence of the hotel manager or guest experience manager, focusing on front office management, security monitoring, and maximizing profitability.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure a solid understanding of the hotel’s target and drive it with the front office team.
- Ensure all staff are present on time and in uniform.
- Make efficient use of company time.
- Communicate effectively with other departments.
- Plan projects and events effectively.
- Ensure all departments are adequately staffed.
- Develop products that differentiate the hotel in the market place.
- Aware of VIP and group arrivals and departures.
- Ensure a high level of service is maintained.
- Look for new opportunities to improve services.
- Manage the hotel complaint system.
- Perform the function of manager on duty.
- Ensure front office and reservations departmental rosters are cost-effective.
