SMSF Accountant

We are seeking an experienced SMSF Accountant to join our team at People2People. As an SMSF Accountant, you will be responsible for managing SMSF annual accounts and returns, ensuring adherence to agreed timeframes and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of SMSF clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of the SIS Act and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes and updates.
- Collaborate closely with the team, providing training and mentoring to junior staff, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct initial reviews of SMSF information and data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Delegate tasks effectively, taking ownership and responsibility for the delivery of high-quality results.
- A Business degree majoring in Accounting or Commerce, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Completed or studying towards CA/CPA qualification, with at least 2 years of recent experience in a similar role within professional services.
- Proven SMSF technical knowledge and accounting skills, with a strong understanding of the SIS Act and regulations.
- Strong team integration and collaboration abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated capability to understand and tailor services to client needs, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
