About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SMSF Accountant to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our specialist SMSF team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and administration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist SMSF accounting and administration services in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Confidently navigate Class software to continuously improve your skill level.
  • Prepare fund activity statements, financial statements, and annual returns to a high standard.
  • Liaise with clients to answer queries, provide regular updates, and request documents and information to ensure jobs are completed promptly.
  • Research superannuation-related matters and communicate with the ATO on client matters.
  • Promptly communicate with accounting team members to achieve high-quality results for clients.
  • Efficiently coordinate with administration to ensure collations and client correspondence are completed.
  • Complete daily timesheets and adhere to budget requirements.
About You

We are looking for an experienced SMSF Accountant with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. You should have previous experience in the SMSF industry, be working towards or have completed CA/CPA qualifications, and have experience using Class software.
