Site Operations Manager Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading infrastructure services company as a Site Operations Manager based in Townsville, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and readiness for the Australian Defence Force (ADF), ensuring Defence assets are mission-ready. This includes empowering trades and support teams at Lavarack and Ross Island Barracks.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of enabling a safety-focused team environment and maintaining quality standards in workshops and office spaces. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven leader in a technical environment
  • Trade qualification or maintenance experience is advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills that foster trust and collaboration
  • Confident decision making supported by clear rationale
  • A valid Driver's licence
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
