**Import Operations Professional Needed**

We are seeking a skilled Import Operations professional to assume responsibility for handling all Import FCL/LCL activities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing customer bookings, documentation, cartage, customs reporting, invoicing, and weekly reports on current position, opportunities, threats, and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- PO management: placing orders with service providers, setting up new orders
- Coordinating and managing customer shipments, documentation, logistics, customs clearance, and billing.
- Providing regular status updates and notifications to team members and account managers on profitable and non-profitable areas.
- Tracking and tracing international cargo, providing regular updates and insights.
- Ensuring all quotations are managed and updated into the database, providing client training on systems and portals.
- Identifying areas for improvement, implementing cost-saving measures, and optimizing processes.

**Requirements**

- At least 1 year of experience in Import Freight Forwarding, preferably with expertise in CargoWise software.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.
- Desire to contribute to a growing business and appreciate the challenges and rewards of working in a dynamic environment.
