Job Title: Global Import Logistics Expert

We are a leading global logistics company offering an unrivalled portfolio of services across multiple modes of transportation to diverse customers worldwide. Our mission is to connect people and businesses securely and reliably, facilitating global trade flows.

  • To oversee the coordination and completion of all shipment activities including receipt of customer bookings, documentation requirements, and related local and international transport;
  • To lead the planning and execution of seasonal protocols for BMSB, liaising with origin offices, customs brokers, and shipping lines to ensure compliance and timely cargo movement;
  • To ensure accurate and timely reporting of import cargo, maintaining visibility across shipments and supporting internal and external stakeholders with relevant updates;
  • To ensure quality KPIs are met or overachieved consistently;
  • To manage EDO handovers and oversee billing activities, ensuring documentation accuracy and alignment with operational timelines;
  • To implement regulatory compliance procedures relating to commodities and locations for shipments;
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with CFS and shipping lines to streamline import operations, resolve issues, and optimize service delivery;
  • To resolve day-to-day delivery issues and implement best practices to increase effectiveness and efficiency;
  • To execute duties assigned by your manager within the general scope of the role

Key Responsibilities

  • To proactively oversee customer shipments to ensure satisfaction at every touchpoint, fostering loyalty and driving repeat business;
  • To minimize costs on every job file and maximize gross profit on every job file;
  • To resolve workflow issues and/or based on customer feedback, escalating to your supervisor when unable to do so;
  • To ensure all required documentation are in place as per shipment requirements/SOP;
  • To provide training and guidance as needed and/or directed by your manager to ensure team success
