About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Relations and Events Executive to join our team at Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for enhancing our brand profile, managing media relations, and orchestrating memorable events that showcase our unique Mexican culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Support to the Head of PR: Provide expert guidance and support to our Head of PR to develop and execute effective public relations strategies.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and manage consumer events, such as product launches and press office functions, to boost our brand visibility and engagement.
  • Media Relations: Foster strong relationships with media influencers and manage media monitoring reports to ensure our brand is represented positively.
  • Partnership Management: Develop and implement communication strategies to manage national and state-based partnerships, including contract negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating media materials, such as press releases, pitches, and content for our owned channels.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: A degree in Public Relations, Professional Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in public relations and event management.
  • Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong networking abilities, and excellent organization skills.
