About the Role

We are seeking a creative Public Relations Specialist to join our award-winning PR team in our Sydney office. Reporting to the Senior PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of our press office and execute PR campaigns that creatively and uniquely position Domain within the property media landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Nurture and enhance Domain's existing media relationships and partnerships, and seek out new opportunities to reach broader audiences.
  2. Stay up-to-date with property and home content, general news, and wider social-economic issues that may shape media opportunities in our field.
  3. Develop creative news angles, pitch stories, and see them come to life in the media.
  4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives and projects, ensuring work is aligned.
  5. Monitor the media landscape across relevant topics and engage in business strategy and marketing objectives related to PR opportunities.
  6. Analyse data in a PR context and provide insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 4 years in PR/Communications or journalism, ideally within a medium to large company or at an agency.
  2. Proven ability to analyse complex data and convert it to simple, accessible communications.
  3. Experience managing media monitoring, updating media databases, and creating monthly and campaign reporting.
  4. Outstanding written communication skills, with clear, articulate, and engaging writing.
  5. Excellent organisational skills and time management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
