Remote Healthcare Professional

Job Summary:

As a remote healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care through telephone and messenger-based screenings.

  • You will assess medical and mental health concerns, prioritize care, make appropriate referrals, and perform critical follow-ups.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Develop strong relationships with members and partner services to provide comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough telephone and chat-based triage to evaluate medical and mental health concerns.
  • Determine the urgency and criticality of member conditions to facilitate timely and effective interventions.
  • Coordinate with mental health services, emergency services, and other healthcare facilities as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to member needs and concerns.
  • Make necessary appointments on behalf of members and ensure ongoing support through regular follow-up calls.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency and Triage settings.
  • Telehealth or Critical Care (ICU) experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Current registration with AHPRA without restrictions.
