Senior Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the modernisation of our .NET applications, APIs, and Angular SPAs. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in application upgrades, containerisation, identity management, and data-centric development to enhance our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the upgrade of .NET 4.8 web applications, APIs, and Angular SPAs to .NET 8, ensuring improved security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Migrate container infrastructure from Docker Windows 2016 to Docker Windows 2022, optimising scalability, reliability, and resource utilisation.
  • Integrate and update application identity management using Entra ID (AAD, AD, and B2C) and F5 for secure authentication and authorisation.
  • Expand data loading, validation, and transformation processes within API workflows to support improved data handling.
  • Document all processes, configurations, and workflows for future maintenance and scalability support.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in .NET development, with a proven track record of leading major upgrade projects.
  • Strong experience in modernisation projects, API-centric development, and data workflows.
  • Proficient in .NET 4.8, .NET 8, Docker (Windows containers), and Angular for front-end development.
  • Hands-on experience with Entra ID (AAD, AD, and B2C) and F5 for application identity management.
  • Solid understanding of containerised application environments and optimisation for Docker Windows 2022.
